Heritage Shool course II edition
La Scuola del Patrimonio launches a two-year high specialization and research course for candidates who have already obtained an advanced university degree in heritage and cultural disciplines.
The aim of the course is to promote continuity between specialized training and the world of work, upgrading professional shills to meet the new cultural heritage standards as well as the requirements of cultural institutes, organisations and businesses.
The curriculum is very rich: lectures, seminars, exercises, research projects, study visits and a substantial internship period; it is designed to train professionals to operate in different areas of cultural heritage and also to renew their management forms and modalities with an integrated and collaborative approach.
20 professionals including archaeologists, architects, planners, landscape architects and conservation s, art historians, physical anthropologists and demo-ethno-anthropologists, archivists, librarians and other specialists in cultural activities, with a two-year master or PhD degree in subjects related to heritage and cultural activities.
Participants will be selected through a public procedure according to their titles and experience and on the basis of a written test and an interview.

At the end of the Course, after the evaluation of their performance through the entire curriculum, the participants will receive the High Specialization and Research Diploma of in Cultural Heritage is according to Law Decree Art. 67 of June 22, 2012 and subsequent amendments and additions, corresponding to 150 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits, that are valid and recognized within the European area.

Common module (10 months)
Introductory lectures: emerging themes, background issues, research tracks.
Focus on: administrative, juridical, economic and management subjects, new technologies and digitalization; communication; care of cultural heritage and landscape.
Specialization module (2 months)
It is possible to choose:

Cultural heritage and digitalization
Cultural heritage and mediation
Year II
Internship (12 months)
Within a public or private cultural heritage management organization at the national or international level; participants will be required to carry out a work or research project, thus practising and fine-tuning their knowledge and skills acquired during the first year.
Study visits to the most interesting realities of the sector that are an integral part of the training offer.
Our close and constant collaboration with public and private cultural institutions from all over the country results in a training offer designed to meet the needs of administrations, organizations and companies, which allows the participants to learn about the concrete and real functioning of the cultural heritage administrative, organizational and managerial operations.

The communication campaign
Mettiti in ballo (Dance Around) features Edgar Degas’ Dancer with Tambourine (inv. 9119, Rome, National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, under the aegis of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism.
Scendi in Pista (Get on track) features a Runner, inv. 562, from the Naples National Archaeological Museum, under the aegis of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
Non fare la mummia (Don’t be like a mummy) features the Fake cover of the sarcophagus of Amon Tabak Khonsu’s singer, cat. 2226 /1, Egyptian Museum of Turin.
