15 March 2024

On Thursday, March 14th and Friday, March 15th, 2024, the skills2GO! project is kicking off in Nova Gorica, an empowering initiative for Nova Gorica and Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture 2025, organized by the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali with GECT GO/EZTS GO and GO!2025. The project focuses on boosting the skills of those involved in realizing, enhancing, promoting, and supporting the European Capital of Culture 2025.
Both Italian and Slovenian working groups are present at the first workshop on “Audience Engagement: Strategies and Tools for Fostering Cross-Border Participation” which tackles a crucial aspect for the success of the Capital’s program: identifying, building, and engaging not just any audience but a genuine cross-border community. BAM! Strategie Culturali experts, along with professionals from the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, lead participants through a collective and shared laboratory to explore ideas and experiment with innovative solutions to engage different target groups.
The mid-March in-person workshop is the first of a comprehensive program of theoretical sessions and hands-on activities, covering a wide range of cultural design topics tailored to the specific needs of Nova Gorica and Gorizia.
