In 2025, Nova Gorica and Gorizia will become the first cross-border European Capital of Culture, bridging the east and the west, modernity and tradition, nestled in the heart of Europe at a border square.
This endeavor marks a significant milestone for these two cities, once divided by borders but now unified by a shared vision embodied in the ambitious GO2025 initiative that places culture at its core.
The Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, in partnership with GECT GO/EZTS GO and GO!2025, is conducting a comprehensive capacity-building program tailored for both administrations, aimed at empowering professionals and public officers involved in shaping, enriching, promoting, and sustaining the cultural landscape of the European Capital of Culture 2025.
